Trauma-Informed Support for Sexual Assault Survivors

Fort Worth, Texas

A safe space built for healing after a sexual assault

Trauma-informed support, embodied healing, and community for women 18+

Maybe you went to the hospital. Maybe you didn’t. Maybe you reported it, or maybe you’ve next said the word out loud to anyone. Maybe you did trauma therapy and it helped but you still don’t feel like yourself. Maybe therapy isn’t accessible right now, or it isn’t what you need at this exact moment.

Wherever you are, this is true: what happened to you does not define you, and you shouldn’t have to figure out the rest by yourself.

Resilient Women Co. exists for the space between crisis and recovered — the long, unglamorous, raw middle where most survivors actually live. We’re not a hotline and we’re not a therapy practice. We’re trauma-informed support, embodied healing, and community for women healing after a sexual assault.

What We Believe

You are not broken.

Trauma is a response to things that happened to you — not a reflection of who you are or who you’re capable of becoming.

Healing is not linear.

Some days you’ll feel like you’re on top of the mountain. Others, you’ll feel like you’ve hit rock bottom. Both are part of the journey & both are welcome here.

You need a village.

You are meant to live in community with others. While you may feel lonely, you are not alone in this journey.

You deserve to thrive.

Not just cope or survive. You are worthy of real, embodied joy in your sense of self, relationships, and everyday life.

Meredith Wilson

As someone that has experienced many traumatic events, Meredith knows first-hand what it’s like to live life in survival mode, overcome the impossible, and thrive. She has found her calling in supporting others by holding space and being a light in their darkness.

Whether the assault took place last week or twenty years ago, Meredith will listen, validate, and support with unwavering empathy and compassion. Her goal is to provide you with emotional support, practical tools, referrals to explore your options, and the confidence needed to take your next step.

This is:

  • Support from a survivor who has training in trauma-informed care, somatic practices, and lived experiences

  • Present-tense, embodied healing through sound healing, nervous system regulation, and mindfulness

  • A space where you set the pace and never have to explain, justify, or apologize

  • A bridge for women who aren’t in therapy right now, or who want support alongside it

This isn’t:

  • Therapy, diagnosis, or treatment for PTSD or other mental health conditions

  • A replacement for a licensed therapist or crisis services

  • A place where you’ll be asked to recount or relive what happened

  • A one-size-fits-all program with one right way to heal

If at any point it’s clear you need more clinical support, we’ll have a name and number ready for you to call for help.

You have survived every hard thing that has ever come your way. This is just the next one and you don’t have to do it alone.

Individual Support

Emotional Support Sessions

Do you have a secret or something personal you need to share but don’t know who to talk to about it? A past trauma or current issue that you need to say out loud. Maybe you caught your husband cheating, want a divorce, and aren’t sure where to even start. Whatever it is, you can tell Meredith.

We’ll meet somewhere beautiful and unhurried, like the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens or a quiet indoor space, depending on weather.

You can come with something specific you need to talk through, say the things you can’t say anywhere else, or simply to be with someone who gets it — without having to explain the whole backstory or manage their reaction to it.

This is not therapy. It’s peer support from a resilient woman who has been through hard things and has found purpose in showing up fully for other women who are in the middle of theirs.

“Trust in the power of your voice and the anchor of your own truth.”

Build Your Village

Community & Events for Resilient Women

Humans are innately social and aren’t meant to navigate life on their own. That said, traumatic events like sexual assaults can be isolating and lead to feelings of loneliness.

We often disappear into our circumstances, stop reaching out as to not burden others, and smile through it all in public while struggling in private.

The community and events at Resilient Women Co. exists to interrupt that pattern. It’s a safe place to come exactly as you are, free from judgement, performance/masking, and expectations. All you have to do is show up and you’ll be in good company with women who genuinely get it.

  • This is your permission to pause, breathe, and exist safely.

These events are low pressure, designed purely for restoration.

There is no right way to show up. The only expectation is that you give yourself permission to be present, guilt-free.

  • A modern bookclub for women that enjoy reading prescriptive nonfiction.

Each month we’ll read a nonfiction book that explores personal growth/self-development, women’s issues, psychology, memoir, health, then gather to discuss what it stirred, challenged, or confirmed in us.

-Books announced one month in advance with discussion questions shared ahead of time — no long term commitment, participate when the book resonates with you!
    - Casual & conversational
    - All reading levels & background welcome
    - A curated reading list lives on the website for self-guided exploration

  • No sales pitch, no gatekeeping — just useful information from women that know their shit.

Each event brings in a vetted expert to speak and answer questions you’ve either been afraid to ask or want to learn more about on a topic directly relevant to women.

The format is simple: a focused 30-40 minute presentation or conversation, followed by a Q&A.

If you are a resilient woman craving support that meets you exactly where you are — this is the place for you.
